Luca - Certified Therapy Dog

Hello! My name is Luca, and I’m a 10-year-old Bernedoodle. For the past seven years, I have been volunteering alongside my favorite human, Pamela, as a Certified Therapy Team with Pet Partners of Utah.

I absolutely love making new friends and spreading joy wherever I go! Some of my favorite things to do include:

• Listening to kids at elementary schools as they read to me. Their stories are the best (sometimes I even get belly rubs while they read!).

• Receiving lots of love and gentle pats from wonderful memory care patients.

• Interacting with judges and clients at Juvenile Court—everyone needs a little comfort now and then.

• Giving big “hugs” and sharing extra snuggles with university students and employees all across the Salt Lake valley.

Bringing smiles, warmth, and a bit of fluffy happiness to the people I meet is my greatest reward. I can’t wait to see who I’ll get to meet next!
