Girls on the Run 

Girls on the Run is an after-school, character development program that enhances the social, mental, and physical health of 3rd-8th grade girls with a fun curriculum that creatively integrates running. Program participants learn valuable life lessons that include coping with difficult situations in healthy ways, demonstrating care for self and others, identifying values, and so much more.

Warm Line 

The Utah Warm Line, operated by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, allows callers to discuss and work through their personal struggles with a Certified Peer Support Specialist. The Warm Line is available for free from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm every day at (801) 587-1055.

Crisis Nursery

Operated by The Family Support Center, the Crisis Nursery provides free emergency care for children in the Salt Lake Valley, ages 0-11. Whether you are experiencing a medical emergency, have legal obligations, need to attend a job interview, or just need a break, the Crisis Nursery may be able to provide support.

Ruff Haven

Ruff Haven provides free crisis shelter for the pets of those who are experiencing emergencies (such as hospitalization, substance use treatment, domestic violence, and more) that prevent them from caring for their animal. Ruff Haven’s services are temporary and limited to emergency situations only. If you are experiencing a crisis and are unable to take care of your pet, Ruff Haven may be able to help.
