Sam (she/her) was born and raised in Lake Tahoe California, she moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah for her BS in Recreational Therapy and Psychology. She has completed both BS and is a Certified Recreational Therapist. She obtained her masters in social work at the University of Utah as well. In her free time, Sam enjoys hiking with her dog, skiing, and traveling.

Sam is passionate about working with all different ages and backgrounds, she has worked in residential treatment for Recreational Therapy for teens, and enjoys working with clients in a person-centered approach. Sam has worked with children of all ages, teens, and adults all with cognitive and intellectual disabilities through her work with recreational therapy.
