Oscar Terriquez-Hernandez

CSW, Therapist

Oscar Terriquez-Hernandez (He/Him) holds a Master's in Social Work from Utah Valley University. Oscar is dedicated to supporting clients through life's most challenging moments. With a foundation in child-centered therapy, systems-thinking, and trauma-informed care, Oscar creates a warm, judgment-free space where clients are met exactly where they are, free from bias and full of possibility.

Oscar believes that healing looks different for every child, and that the best therapy happens when kids feel truly seen and safe. Through the natural language of play, he helps people process anxiety, work through trauma, and build grounding skills they can carry with them for life.

As a Mexican-American with roots in Jalisco, México, and raised in Utah, Oscar brings a bicultural perspective to his work and is proud to offer services in both English and Spanish. He understands first hand the importance of culturally responsive care and strives to make therapy accessible and welcoming for all families.

When he's not in session, you'll find Oscar in the garden, out on his bike, or soaking up the outdoors, because he believes nature has a lot to teach us.
