Maria Vachlon - CSW
Maria (she/her) works with adults navigating trauma, OCD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, creating a safe space to explore painful experiences and build new ways of moving forward. She draws on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other evidence-based methods to support lasting healing and resilience.
Maria cares deeply about helping people untangle the effects of trauma and find relief from the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Whether you’re carrying memories that feel too heavy, struggling with obsessive thoughts, or moving through grief and change, she will meet you with compassion and curiosity.
Outside of therapy, Maria enjoys climbing, knitting, and spending time with her cat. She is a member of the American Alpine Club’s Climbing Grief Fund, which supports healing within the climbing community.
Rebecca Cohen, LCSW is Maria’s clinical supervisor.
