Kelton Jacobsen
ACMHC, Therapist
Kelton Jacobsen (he/him) is a native of St. George, Utah. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Kelton works primarily with teenagers and adults, with a particular focus on men and men’s issues—including identity, purpose, relationships, anxiety, depression, and the stress many men carry silently. His style is steady, direct, and supportive, balancing insight with practical tools to help clients make meaningful, lasting change.
Kelton’s approach is relational and collaborative. He integrates Humanistic and Existential therapy, along with Psychodynamic therapy to explore deeper emotional patterns, attachment wounds, and the ways past experiences shape the present.
In addition to individual therapy, Kelton offers a structured Parent Coaching Program designed to help caregivers build stronger connection, increase confidence, and respond to challenging behaviors with clarity and consistency. The evidence-based program emphasizes real change through practice—not information alone.
In his free time, Kelton enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with his dogs, and participating in community and church events.
