Diana Cabrales
ACMHC
Diana believes that even the behaviors we struggle with have a story. Therapy can be a place to understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped these stories and the ways we respond to the world. It can also be a place to find practical tools for what’s happening right now.
Her hope is that therapy becomes both a steady place to land and an encouraging place to grow—a space to create a life you genuinely enjoy living.
Working from a psychodynamic and relational approach, Diana supports individuals, parents, and couples. She draws from EMDR, DBT, and Gottman principles to help clients navigate difficult experiences, emotions, and relationships.
Diana earned a B.A. from Rice University, a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster University.
Outside the office, Diana loves spending time with her family, traveling, embroidering, and having meaningful conversations with good people—especially on Utah summer evenings.
Talysha Rubey, LCMHC is Diana’s clinical supervisor.
