Allison Mervin, ACMHC - Social Media Coordinator, Therapist
Allison (she/her) is passionate about helping individuals navigate the challenges in their lives, and find peace through inner work. She utilizes a strengths-based and client-centered approach when working with clients in order to build trust and assist in developing a positive sense of self. In practice, Allison incorporates methods from Jungian Psychology, including archetypal, and dream work. She also utilizes concepts from Ecotherapy and Narrative Therapy. Allison’s areas of focus include grief and loss, challenges surrounding identity development, and trauma.
Allison’s clinical experience includes working with adolescents in residential treatment centers, wilderness therapy, and most recently with young women from diverse and vulnerable populations in a transitional living program. Allison has training with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
Allison was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and attended the University of Utah where she earned a BS in Anthropology and a BA in International Studies. Allison completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College. In her free time, Allison enjoys rock climbing, canyoneering, traveling, trail running, and reading.
Allison is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, SelectHealth, and EMI Health plans. Allison’s private pay rates are $175.00 for intake sessions and $150.00 for follow-up sessions.
