Aimee believes the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change. They are committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and accepted. As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, Aimee provides compassionate, evidence-based care through a client-centered, relational approach. They are LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally responsive, honoring each person's identity, lived experience, and strengths. Aimee believes therapy can be both deeply meaningful and gently challenging, with room for curiosity, humor, and hope along the way.
Aimee works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, and substance use. They integrate trauma-informed psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, strengths-based interventions, and emotion regulation strategies to help clients build resilience and create lasting change.
Aimee is also a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Since 2012, they have worked with diverse populations using the healing power of the human-animal relationship to support emotional well-being. Their experience includes working with neurodiverse individuals, young adults, trauma survivors, people experiencing addiction and co-occurring disorders, and individuals with physical disabilities.
Originally from Michigan, Aimee earned a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience and Art from the University of Denver and a Master of Social Work from Utah Valley University. Outside of work, they enjoy climbing, snowboarding, creating art, listening to music, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
